I came across something a little exciting this week - our wedding was featured in the current edition of Cosmo Bride.
It was part of a piece on photography, and this little section was on using props (check out my homemade bunting!). I was glad to be able to give a shout out to our fantastic Wonderwall photobooth photographers Feather & Stone- be sure to check out their awesome blog here.
We were so chuffed with the Wonderwall photos we chose some of our favourites and turned them into a canvas.
I think the props were a hit with our guests.
I was never that keen on having traditional wedding photos on our walls at home, so I felt much more comfortable sharing the wall space with all of our gorgeous family and friends.
Woohoo!! Go you two!! What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun photos, much nicer than the regular staged shots you always see :)
ReplyDeleteI was recently at a wedding in NZ where the couple had a "dress-up" area with tons of fun props for non-traditional wedding photos! It's such a brilliant idea! Love your photos!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteOoo this is fabulous! How blooming excitement, and how great does your canvas look. I would like to try something like that with photos, it's really a wonderful idea. May I pinch it?
ReplyDeleteof course Ali! go right ahead. I had my canvas made at clickonprint.com.au and am very happy with the quality
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea, and SO much fun. Congrats on your feature, and you look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you, I was thinking that I might like to make up a canvas for my boys' father's birthday (could that get any more complicated!), we had some lovely shots taken last year by a fabulous photographer friend of ours at the Ekka. We just haven't gotten around to putting any on canvas yet, and like this, I can put them ALL on canvas!!
ReplyDeleteThose photos looks so fun! I agree . .its weird having staged wedding photos in your house . . . .the dress up photos & the bunting one are totally cool! Hope you've kept copies of the magazine to show your kids when you are old! lovT
